GradFin Welcomes Nichelle Anderson to the Team

Nichelle Anderson

Congrats to one of our latest hires – Nichelle Anderson! To learn a little about Nichelle and the ways in which she will be an asset to GradFin, we sat down for a Q&A:

Q: Where did you attend school and what did you study?

A: Temple University; Sports and Recreation Management

Q: What were you doing before GradFin?

A: I was an Educational Assistant/Aide at a middle school in Lower Moreland Township

Q: What drew you to GradFin? What is it about this position that excites you?

A: I loved that I could relate to the type of business they are doing, since I have student loans and it has been a big stressor for myself. This position really excites me because I know the work that I am doing will, in some way, help someone alleviate their loans.

Q: What experiences are you bringing to your new role and how can this help a GradFin
client?

A: I have been working since I was 16, and throughout my previous jobs and internships I have met so many people that have taught me a lot of different skills. I have been in customer service, so I love to be able to help others and learn about their own experiences. I am excited to bring a new perspective to GradFin.

Q: Why are you passionate about helping people manage their student loans?

A: I am a first generation college student, and when I was completing my degree I had no idea what I was doing when I took loans out; because of this my student loans cause me a lot of stress. GradFin is helping me with my loans so I am excited to take my personal experience and hopefully help a lot of people manage their loans.

Q: What have you learned from your experience so far with GradFin?

A: I have learned that so many people suffer from student loans but you do not have to suffer with them, there are so many ways to get help. The most interesting thing I have learned so far is that a lot of people qualify for loan forgiveness but don’t know it, and that is where GradFin can help.
