Change of Services FAQs
Starting July 15th, 2025, we will provide free ongoing access to our student loan experts for clients, while limiting our involvement with any government-related documents or requests. Please read below to learn more about changes to memberships and services, including our Freedom Plus Checking Account, access to the Membership Portal, employment certification, scheduled calls, and the processing of pre-audits.
Q: What will happen to my Freedom Plus Checking Account?
If you have a Freedom Plus Checking account, you won’t be required to meet any stipulations and you won’t be charged any fees for not meeting those stipulations. After August 15th, your account will remain open, and you can still use it for transactions.
Q: Will I still have access to my Membership Portal after August 15th?
After August 15th, you’ll no longer have access, so it’s important to log in now to download any documents that you might need in the future.
Q: Will you continue to certify my employment?
If you’ve already asked us to help you certify your employment, we’ll continue to reach out for signatures until August 15th. After August 15th, we will no longer continue outreach for employment certification.
Q: What if I have an Annual Review or Welcome Call already scheduled?
If your call is scheduled before August 15th, we’ll still have your call, and we’ll be happy to speak with you about your loans and any questions you may have. After August 15th, we will no longer conduct annual reviews or continue Annual Review calls.

Q: I’m waiting for my pre-audit. Will I get my results?
Yes, we’re currently processing all submitted pre-audits, and we’ll send you results before August 15th.
